Whether you’re apart of an aspiring band or you’re a motivated entrepreneur, you’ve probably realized by now that Myspace is a great free way to get yourself known. So you go out and purchase a program that will mass send friend requests to people in your demographic on Myspace, only to find out a day or two later that your account has been deleted by Myspace for spam! Myspace has wised up to all of the friend adder bots, but that doesn’t mean the free Myspace advertising party is over just yet. Here’s how to use a Myspace friend adder bot and not get deleted:

Limit your friend requests a day to below 200
Myspace allows you to send up to 400 friend requests per day, but doing the absolute limit will alert the Myspace trained monkeys to your suspicious activity and result in a speedy account deletion. It is discouraging that you can only send under 200 friend requests per day… but over time those 200 friend requests per day will add up and you’ll have a friends list easily in the thousands.

Put a delay timer in between friend requests
The Myspace friend adder program you’re using should have the ability to delay the amount of time between each friend request. Turn on this feature, and set the time delay between 9-10 seconds. This mimics how much time it would take for you to manually send out friend requests, so you look legitimate to Myspace.

Delete pending requests over a week old
Undoubtedly not everyone is going to accept you as a friend, especially if they think you are some kind of spammer. Many people simply decide to ignore your friend request; No acceptance or rejection is given, you’re request will simply remain in this inbox. I highly recommend you delete pending requests that have been sitting for a week, as an account full of “Pending Requests” can tip off Myspace to your unauthorized activity of using a Myspace friend adder bot.

Keep a spam free profile
Don’t include links to any obvious spam sites. Links to your band site, company sites, etc. are fine, but don’t include any money generating links. These will get you in trouble very quickly and many of your potential “friends” that you request will mark you as “Spam” and your account will get deleted in no time. But if your profile is a simple “About Me/Company/Band” with one small link, you’ll come off as non-spam.

Please note: I do not encourage using Myspace as a form of spam. I hate spam. I am simply offering this advice for people who would like to use Myspace as a free form of uninvasive advertising for themselves, a company, or a band.
